Our Coalition

Our Coalition

The Ohio 8 is a unique partnership that brings two important voices to the same table: district superintendents and teacher union presidents. Together, members share the experience of leading and working in Ohio’s urban public schools and advocate for policies that reflect the realities facing students, educators and communities.

By working together across districts and roles, the Ohio 8 identifies common challenges, shares solutions and brings a unified urban education perspective to state policy discussions.
